The Teatro Sociale in Pinerolo, in collaboration with the Fondazione Piemonte dal Vivo, announces its 2026/2026 theatre season: thirteen productions included in the season ticket package and two one-off performances, featuring leading names from the Italian theatre scene.

Piccoli mondi

The first edition of Piccoli Mondi, a new festival dedicated to families and children: three days of performances, experiences and discoveries designed and created especially for the youngest visitors, including the very little ones aged from zero to three.

Featuring circus acts, juggling, theatre, music and walks exploring the city’s history, Piccoli Mondi offers performances for all ages, overcoming language barriers thanks to the artists’ physicality and their expertise in creating shows designed specifically for children.

The architectural and natural backdrop is provided by the town of Susa, set amongst the castle, the Parco di Augusto and the streets of the historic centre, offering a wide-ranging programme and moments of wonder hidden around every corner.

Grande Festa del Faro 2026

The "Grande Festa del Faro" will kick off with a preview event on Sunday 6, featuring an aperitif.

The main event takes place on Saturday 12: an aperitif-dinner accompanied by music from DJ Cichin and Costa.

We recommend that you bring a head torch or a torch for the descent.

Given the current high risk of forest fires, there is no guarantee that the traditional bonfire will go ahead.

Trio Nigun. Geometrie del Novecento

The cultural season of Vita e Pace gets underway again with an event dedicated to music and the fusion of artistic forms: at the Church of Santa Maria Maggiore in Avigliana, the Geometrie del Novecento by the Trio Nigun – an ensemble made up of young students from the Conservatorio della Svizzera italiana in Lugano – will be performed.

The concert takes the audience on a musical journey spanning different eras, styles and sensibilities, weaving together elements of folk music, jazz and experimental works from the 20th century: a programme designed to offer the audience a rich and varied listening experience, in which tradition and innovation engage in dialogue through the works of some of the most important composers of the last century.

During the afternoon, works by Igor Stravinsky, Alban Berg and Béla Bartók will be performed; these composers are united by their ability to explore new forms of expression and to engage with folk traditions and the evolution of musical language.

The Church of the Sacra di San Michele is the setting for a musical journey spanning four centuries of history and beauty.

The Sacra di San Michele Music Choir and Orchestra, conducted by Maestro Enrico Euron, will take the audience on a moving journey through some of the greatest masterpieces of sacred music, from the Baroque period to the present day.

The event, held to coincide with the celebrations for St Michael the Archangel, is an invitation to experience the Sacra not merely as a monument but as a living place, where music continues to engage with the spirituality that has dwelled within these walls for over a thousand years.

The concert takes the audience on a journey through more than four centuries of compositions that have accompanied generations of men and women in their contemplation and search for the divine: each piece will be introduced by a short narrative that will reveal its historical context and spiritual significance, offering the audience a deeper understanding that goes beyond simply listening.

It will not merely be a concert, but a journey that weaves together music, history and faith, restoring the original power of the great masterpieces of the sacred tradition.

The purpose of the event is to remind us that great sacred music does not belong solely to the past, but continues to be a universal form of beauty, capable of uniting people in an authentic experience of listening and inner reflection.

For young and old alike. ‘I Saw the Snow’ is the story of Ahmed, a fourteen-year-old Kurdish boy who lives in a care home in Turin. One day, he goes with his friends to the top of the Mole, where he discovers that there are snow-capped mountains near Turin, just like in his home country, from which he was forced to flee when he was very young. He then decides to go and see the snow and runs away from the care home… The play is loosely based on the book *La neve di Ahmed* (published by Jaca Book, 2003) by Francesca Caminoli. It is staged by Artemuda, featuring Roberto Micali, Renato Sibille, Patrizia Spadaro and Jovana Panic, with live music performed by Daniele Contardo. Artemuda is a social promotion association comprising cultural practitioners and researchers with specialist expertise in the artistic fields of theatre, music and dance: this is the origin of the association’s name, with AR standing for Art, TE for Theatre, MU for Music and DA for Dance.

Attraverso il racconto coinvolgente di Alberto Borgatta e Fabio Otta, le sonorizzazioni originali dal vivo di Silvano Borgatta e la regia tecnica di Luca Borgatta, il collettivo Borgatta's Factory conduce il pubblico lungo le vie percorse per secoli da pellegrini e fedeli sulle tracce dell'Arcangelo.

Da Monte Sant'Angelo a Mont-Saint-Michel, passando per i grandi santuari della tradizione micaelica fino alla Sacra di San Michele, ogni luogo diventa una tappa di un racconto che attraversa i secoli e le culture.

E nel luogo che più di ogni altro in Piemonte porta il suo nome e ne custodisce il simbolo, questo viaggio assume un significato ancora più profondo.

Tra musica, parole e suggestioni il pubblico sarà accompagnato dentro un'esperienza capace di emozionare e far riscoprire il senso di un patrimonio spirituale che appartiene a tutti.

On Monday 15 August, the Olympic Mountains’ Ferragosto Grand Concert returns to Sportinia (Sauze d’Oulx), now in its 16th edition. A unique event with free admission, set amidst nature, organised by the Municipality of Sauze d’Oulx, the Via Lattea Olympic Municipalities Mountain Union and the Fortur Consortium.

The Ensemble Symphony Orchestra is one of the best-known orchestras on the national arts scene and will thrill the audience with the soundtracks of some of the most beloved films.

To reach the concert venue, we recommend using the Prariond–Sportinia chairlift. The road will be closed to motorised vehicles from the Pian della Rocca car park.

Through the universal languages of movement and music, the festival seeks to awaken new thoughts, emotions, and opportunities for encounter, while exploring what it means today to build pathways toward peace and how we can walk them together, step by step.

The 2026 edition will guide artists and participants along a journey through forests, mountain hamlets, and symbolic sites across the region, culminating at the walls of the Fenestrelle Fortress. Along the way, the landscape itself becomes a space for dialogue, listening, and shared experience.
