A special evening of singing on the summit of Monte Cuneo, between sunset and the rise of the full moon, with the Sfumature di rosa choir conducted by Donatella Fazio.
From 6.00 pm, a bar service will be available serving hot and cold drinks and, for those who wish, a hearty ‘merenda sinoira’ (€8.00; booking essential at the Avigliana Tourist Office).
To reach Moncuni, you walk up an easy route along a footpath or dirt track, but suitable footwear, weather-appropriate clothing and a torch for the return journey are strongly recommended.
For those who do not wish to walk up alone or are unfamiliar with the route, there will be two group departures: one from Avigliana (4.30 pm from the car park on Via Oronte; booking recommended) and one from Reano (5.15 pm from Piazzale Donatori di sangue; no booking required).
We look forward to seeing you at Moncuni – or rather, Moon-cuni – to celebrate the full moon of the autumnal equinox, the harvest moon in farming tradition. In the event of bad weather, the evening will be cancelled.
